  • At Edith Cavell, we have many students from different parts of the world; therefore many languages are spoken. We want to bring the students together by building and improving their capacity in the language of programming.

  • The teachers have taught some basics in this language and now we would like for the students to have access to technology for independent/group projects.

  • The problem-solving, communication improvements, and capacity building that the students will gain through experimenting, building, and playing will support the curricular outcomes while fostering a sense of camaraderie.

  • Students will have opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned and assist others in their skill development.

  • The materials purchased with these funds will outlast the period of the project allowing future classes the same opportunities.
