Project Name: Today's Youth Tomorrow's Leaders

• The project consists of an engagement series involving up to 40 youth in our school. Each engagement event will have a theme falling under the umbrella of empowerment and youth leadership:

1. Understanding and Appreciating Diversity in an Inclusive Setting

2. Awakening an Entrepreneurial Mindset in Youth

3. Leadership and Youth Development

4. Strengthening Ties in Our Community

5. Goal Setting/Dream Futures

6. Culminating Event - screening of the film, "Dream Girl"

Throughout the experience we will be creating a video journal involving student interviews and interviews with panelists/guest speakers about their thoughts on the themes presented. The journal will be shared on our website and with the stakeholders who have assisted with the project. Events will consist of either a Speaker Panel or individual guest speaker on the theme followed by an engagement activity for students on the topic.
